To celebrate, we invite you to join all your <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">fellow<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> colleagues at our annual DSU BBQ \/ Employee Appreciation Day! We\u2019re bringing back many of your favorite activities from previous BBQs, as well as Fr. Jim\u2019s State of the University. Whatever you decide to partake in, you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are sure to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> have a fun day with your extended DeSales family. Giveaways, multiple raffles, and prizes will <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">be awarded<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> throughout the day. Select adult beverages will be available throughout the day for employees over <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the age of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> 21. Please bring your ID.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The DSU BBQ 2025 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">T-shirt pickup:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you registered for a T-shirt, we will <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">be distributing<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> them the day before the BBQ, Tuesday, May 27, from <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">11<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">M<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">PM<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in the DUC.<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You can also pick up your shirt the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">morning<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">of<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the BBQ,<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Wednesday, May 28, from <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">9<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">AM<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">M<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">DUC<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Brown bag raffle:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">We kindly ask departments, schools, and colleges across the University to donate items from their store of swag and tchotchkes (T-shirts, mugs, totes, etc.). These items are placed into brown bags for a blind raffle during the BBQ.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you can donate a prize, please drop it off to Teresa Manion, Gambet, room 147B, or Leah Alicea in conference services in the DUC. You can also send items through campus mail. Five stops across campus will earn you five playing cards. At the final stop, your poker hand is tabulated.
