The positive feedback from the class\u00a0and\u00a0their families about the welcoming team is tremendous! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During the last five years, the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership formulated a new plan to connect our first-year students to DeSales. It included a new Orientation webpage, <\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.desales.edu\/orientation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">desales.edu\/orientation<\/span><\/a><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, video tours, a summer series of webinars and Zoom sessions, utilizing social media, in-person information sessions,\u00a0and gathering as much data as possible to connect with the class. We are doing this again during the summer, as we start a new school year.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">would like to be part of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> this year\u2019s Character U and Orientation Program, please consider the following opportunities.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Summer Program Involvement:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Now-Friday, August 15, 2025.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If you would like to be part of this year\u2019s Summer Preview program, which can include information on our Orientation webpage, a table at our summer information sessions, or a video for the new first-year students, please fill out the following form on Bark: <\/span><strong><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cglink.me\/2yU\/s404\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">https:\/\/cglink.me\/2yU\/s404<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Once you <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">fill out<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the form, a member of the Orientation Team will contact you.\u00a0As you are planning, the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">theme of Orientation<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> this year is\u00a0&#8220;Level Up Your Character \u2013 Video Games!&#8221;
