Final Exam Prep Workshop
Worried about getting your final exams to go smoothly? Join the CERT team for the Final Exam Prep workshop. We will go over proper procedures for implementing the LockDown Browser, administering tests on Blackboard, and basic troubleshooting that can be performed to keep your tests running smoothly. We will also provide you with preliminary procedures for your students so that they can properly test the technology and be ready to go on exam day.

Harmonize Workshop

Hypothesis Workshop
Becky George from Hypothesis will team up with CERT staff to discuss how collaborative annotation with Hypothesis can be used to make student reading visible, active, and social. She will also demonstrate how teachers are using annotation-powered reading to empower student writing, helping students develop these foundational academic skills. In addition to sharing pedagogical best practices for collaborative annotation, Becky will demonstrate how Hypothesis can be used with course readings in Blackboard. After presenting, Becky will lead participants in a discussion about how Hypothesis collaborative annotation can be used in their specific disciplines and with their specific teaching and learning objectives. Participants can expect to come away from this session with a clear idea about how they can start incorporating collaborative annotation into their courses to improve student success.
