Celebrating Women’s History Month in Trexler Library

Happy Women’s History Month to our DeSales community! This month, we are celebrating the voices, achievements, and stories of women both past and present.

Our “And Still, She Rises” display and women’s history collection highlight resilient women in literature, history, science, culture, and more. Whether you are looking for impactful essays, inspiring biographies, or introspective fiction, we have something for everyone.

Explore works featuring women, such as Mother Teresa, Gloria Steinem, and Octavia E. Butler, whose lives and legacies have changed the course of history and widened the horizons for all women today.

Our bookmobile will be at the Women’s History Month program hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs on Tuesday, March 18, at 6PM in the DUC Trexler room, so be sure to join us and learn about the incredible women in our community.
