Tomorrow: Council for Retail & Sales Hosting ‘Meet the Experts’ Event
Now housed at the DeSales University Division of Business, the Council for Retail & Sales is hosting its next ‘Meet the Experts’ event on Thursday, February 18, 7PM (via Zoom).
This event will feature Andres Gallegos, CEO of Z-CoiL, Albuquerque, NM as he speaks on the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Model.
Father and son duo, Alvaro and Andres traveled the world to find someone who would manufacturer their “far out” idea of the Z-Coil pain-relief shoe. In 1992, the spring shoe came to life. With hundreds of stores nationwide, they thought their success would never end. Then came the 2008 stock market crash, subsequent recession, and stores began closing quickly. The company resorted to a direct-to-consumer model as a last attempt to become profitable. Andres will share lessons learned from the company’s direct-to-consumer journey.
This virtual event is open to all, and free to attend. Registration is required.
