Teams To Replace Zoom in Brightspace Navbar
On Thursday, June 19, Teams will replace Zoom in the Blue Navbar in Brightspace. Zoom will remain available until July 20.
If you want to keep using Zoom in Brightspace after June 19, you’ll need to add a link to it in your course’s content area:
- Log into your course.
- Go to Content > Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
- Scroll down and click Zoom.
If you’d like to switch to Teams, use the new Navbar link to create meetings. A new resource module with Teams information for instructors and students will be automatically added to courses created after June 19.
For courses created before June 19, instructors can add this Teams module via the Learning Object Repository:
- Log into your course.
- Go to Content > Upload/Create > Add Object from LOR.
- Search for “Microsoft Teams,” select the first option, and click Next.
- Choose Dynamic Link, click Next, then Create Topic.
